What is The Hitmen?

The purpose of the Hitmen is simply to make sure spring hockey no longer feels like spring hockey. The Hitmen is not only the name of our teams, but it is also Denver’s newest and best experience you’ll find for premier hockey development. We targeted a more centralized location to increase the participation of players from all associations. Plus, the old barn gives this program some pretty unique (and cold!) character which only adds to the wholesome hockey experience. We can guarantee you the value you’ll receive is like nothing you’ve experienced in spring thus far. We see our coaches as an indispensable investment into your player’s experience. So…are you ready?

8U Extreme Development

Maximizing 8U development one skate at a time. Our 8U’s will get three hours per week. The first hour of each week will always be setting each player’s foundation the right way with the highest quality skating paired with the highest quality coaching and instruction. We have mastered the ability to make skating fun. Don’t believe us? Give us a shot. We won’t let you down. Our energy and passion for teaching extremely high-paced sessions is completely in a league of its own. The second hour of the week will entail some skill work with small area games elevating the compete levels in our athletes. Our last hour of the week will be a combination of some more intense edge work and overall skill work. This is where it all starts. Give your player’s the foundation NOW.

2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Teams

Our 2016s through 2012s will have their own divisions each consisting of three full ice practices per week. These practices will be a combination of superior skill work and energizing team practices. Each team will have the opportunity to join us for two tournaments, one in April and one in May. Denver hockey families want a top of the line spring program, so let’s make it happen. You won’t look back.

Tournaments

Vegas Spring Showdown

April 18th-20th, 2025

Las Vegas, NV

Mile High Meltdown

May 2nd-4th

Littleton, CO

Lets Hang Out!

Some great hang out spots less than one mile from the rink includes’ Piggin’ Out Smokehouse’ and ‘Green Mountain Beer Company’. Let’s connect and get to know each other after some practices there!

Additional Skills/Scrimmage Ice

Scrimmage/Additional skills ice will be added on Sunday evenings. These will include controlled internal scrimmages to focus on positioning, flat out internal scrimmages, and/or scrimmages with other programs. We can also combine teams to run pure skills such as powerskating, shooting, puck handling, etc.

Professional & Optional Off Ice Training

I will be bringing in my own certified trainers to run optional off-ice training once per week. This is completely free and completely optional. Since kids do multiple sports in the spring, it is overkill to add additional intense training to their schedules. So, if you want to participate, great! If not, great! The off-ice training is right there at the rink.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Hull Hockey has Teamed up with Sumits Yoga! 🧘🏻‍♂️

included for all rostered players, practice players AND parents once per week.
