What is The Hitmen?
The Hull Hockey Hitmen spring program is built to deliver a spring hockey experience unlike anything else in Colorado. At the core of the Hitmen is Hull Hockey’s elite coaching staff, genuine people who bring both knowledge and passion to every practice. Our coaches don’t just run drills; they invest in every detail of a player’s growth, adapting instruction in real time in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that challenges players, builds confidence, and accelerates development.
Practices are run at an unmatched pace. Each session is guaranteed to be fast, intense, and designed to maximize every rep. Our coaches utilize highly effective, full-ice drills that go beyond isolated skills, teaching players how to read, react, and thrive in the complete game. This approach ensures athletes don’t just train harder; they train smarter, developing the awareness and confidence to succeed at the next level.
But the Hitmen experience is more than just practices and games; it’s about culture. Players and families join a community built on accountability, respect, and support. Athletes are challenged to work hard, but they’re also encouraged to thrive in an environment that celebrates effort, growth, and team connection. Parents feel the energy. Players feed off it. Together, it creates an atmosphere where everyone wants to be.
The Hull Hockey Hitmen isn’t just another spring program. It’s an experience that transforms the way players train and opens the eyes of parents who haven’t experienced what it’s truly like to be in a player-centric culture fueled by authentic people who genuinely care.

8U Extreme Skill Development
At Hull Hockey, we believe the foundation built at 8U sets the tone for a player’s entire hockey journey. That’s why our program provides three hours of focused development each week, carefully structured to give young athletes the tools, habits, and confidence they need to thrive.
The first hour is dedicated to establishing the strongest possible base: world-class skating instruction delivered with elite coaching. Skating is the cornerstone of hockey, and we’ve mastered the ability to teach it at the highest level while keeping it engaging and fun. Our energy and passion on the ice create a learning environment unlike anything else.
The second hour blends targeted skill work with small-area games designed to ramp up competition and decision-making. Players stay engaged, challenged, and excited to learn, all while developing creativity and hockey sense in game-like situations.
The third hour combines advanced edge work with overall skill development, pushing athletes just outside their comfort zones to accelerate growth. By reinforcing fundamentals while introducing higher-level concepts, we ensure players leave each week better, stronger, and more confident.
This is where it all starts. The habits built now will carry forward for years to come. Give your player the foundation they deserve—because there’s no better time than 8U.
2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Teams, plus a 10U & 12U Development Team
Our 2017 through 2013 birth years will each train in their own dedicated divisions, giving players the age-appropriate structure and competition they need to thrive. Each team will hit the ice three times per week for full-ice practices designed to blend elite skill development with high-energy, team-focused sessions.
These aren’t just ordinary practices. Every skate is built around purpose, sharpening technical ability, improving hockey IQ, and building the speed and compete level players need to succeed in today’s game. Athletes will be challenged with a combination of advanced skill work and game-like drills that demand pace, creativity, and execution under pressure. The result is development that sticks and players who leave every session better than when they arrived.
Beyond practice, each team will also have the chance to put their hard work into action by competing in two spring tournaments, one in April and one in May. These events give the teams the thrill of competing together against strong competition in a high-energy environment.
We know Colorado hockey families want a spring program that delivers true value, elite coaching, purposeful practices, and a culture where players and families flourish. That’s exactly what the Hitmen brings to the table. This is spring hockey done the right way. Once you experience it, you’ll never look back.
