ABOUT KYLE HULL
A Denver native, Kyle grew up immersed in Colorado’s youth hockey scene, picking up the sport at just five years old. By 18, his ambitions had shifted toward careers in firefighting, nutrition, and dietetics, but a summer coaching opportunity while attending fire school sparked a new passion and set him on an entirely different path.
In 2011, Kyle committed to coaching full-time and has never looked back. He began with the Littleton Hawks, steadily working his way up to director of hockey operations and director of skill development by 2019. Along the way, his reputation as a premier skills coach flourished, fueled by his sought-after private and group training sessions. In 2017, he launched Hull Hockey, a youth development program dedicated to helping players maximize their potential. After nearly 13 years with the Hawks, Kyle stepped down from his director role in December 2023 to devote his full attention to Hull Hockey and his growing community of athletes across Colorado.
When he’s not on the ice, you can usually find Kyle in the gym or outdoors with his wife, Danielle, and their pack of dogs—Sully (Alaskan Malamute), Ivy (Great Dane), Loki (Great Dane), and Ares (Great Dane). While hockey may be his lifelong passion, ensuring his pups live their best lives is a very close second. His ultimate life goal is to live on a big piece of land so that he can have tons and tons of animals!
