Our philosophy
Hull Hockey was born on the belief that the best players are the best skaters. It is the very foundation of hockey and is literally everything to us as hockey players.
Prioritize Skating
A good skater doesn’t just look pretty. They forecheck quicker, back check quicker, win more 50/50 battles, maneuver into scoring positions more often, protect the puck better and so much more.
The Little Things
It’s not just how we manipulate the blades on the ice. Skating includes both the lower body and upper body. We focus on the little things that make the biggest differences.
Powerskating & Edgework
Edges are the substructure to everything your player does on the ice. Whether it’s mastering the basics or pushing players into uncomfortable territory, the progressive nature of this camp is highly effective in not only maximizing repetitions, but also introducing new and challenging drills to the skaters through familiarity. This immensely helps expand players’ mind-muscle connection and muscle memory. Every single drill has a purpose.
Body Control & Posture
One thing that is severely under-corrected or completely ignored is upper body mechanics and body control. As hockey players, our upper body and lower body have to work in harmony with each other to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. With immediate and constant correction on both lower & upper body posture, your skaters will instantly feel the difference…and you will see it too!

2025 Price Increase
I am only writing this note because we haven’t touched our prices for the last three years despite our ice fees constantly going up year by year. But don’t worry, our value keeps getting better and better. 1) Our staff is growing rapidly. Our biggest investment into enhancing our programs is our coaches. We will only put coaches on the ice who WANT to be there for your skater. You will certainly see and feel what I am talking about! Coaching makes ALL the difference. 2) We have more confidence in our product than ever before. The results truly speak for themselves. After years of refining the progressive nature of our patterns, we have a product that will seek nearly immediate results paired with our coaching that is in a class of its own.
