Your First Step In Becoming A Better Skater

It is time to EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

TOPGUN:

“TOPGUN is known to the fleet as the Navy Fighter Weapons School, where its mission statement is simple: win in combat. It was founded during the Vietnam War after naval aviators were sustaining high levels of casualties despite superior aircraft and weapons technology. The school brought in experts to train the pilots and naval flight officers on how to take advantage of new innovations inside the cockpit and properly engage enemy targets. One year after the school opened, for every one U.S. casualty, there were 12 for the enemy.”

Welcome To Hull Hockey's TOPGUN Program

Our TOPGUN program is for players who are currently playing tier I or tier II hockey looking for something different. Something unique, full of energy, passionate instruction and intensity with a focus on pure individual skill development. This program is designed for the high level player who is looking to grow in an electric atmosphere.

High Level Instruction

At Hull Hockey, we have been known to establish foundations in skaters before they move on to tier 1 and tier 2 programs. As time has went on, inquiries for Hull Hockey camps from players currently playing AA or AAA has become a consistent request. Who’s ready for combat?

Skating & Skills Prevail

The focus on skating and skills doesn’t stop as players get older. In fact, as players become bigger, stronger and faster, pure skating ability and dynamic skills will separate the great from the good. Hull Hockey was grown on the belief that skating and skills make all the difference. You are in good hands.

"These highly-skilled men and women describe themselves using three words —

Humble, Credible and Approachable.

That’s because this school doesn’t accept aviators with an ego, or those who fly with a death wish."

Powerskating & Edge Work

Young players are changing the way the game is played through incredible skating. Watch Cale Makar Discuss the importance of edge work in the video below!

Dynamic Small Area Skills

The older you get, the less ice there is. We are all about our small area dynamic skills to create the time and space needed to make plays. Check out the incredible edge work with dynamic skills below!

Keep The Competition Levels Up

Paired with our skating & skills, players will also have the opportunity to keep their compete levels up with a 30 minute fast-paced scrimmage each week with an optional drop-in scrimmage on Sunday afternoons. It is super important for these players to be able to apply the skills learned to real gameplay scenarios without criticism. As Cale Maker says in the video above, creativity is a must!

Transformative Instruction

Our staff has always been dedicated to helping our players from the get go. None of our coaches are there to just collect a paycheck. They know what it takes to make a difference. Our staff is constantly growing and constantly improving. We guarantee you that the value we bring through teaching in a high energy and industrious culture will transform the way you think about coaching. We are setting the standard. We invest a lot into our coaches and we just know you will see and feel the difference.
