Your First Step In Becoming A Better Skater

It is time to EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

Welcome to the 2026 Hitmen 8U Competitive Team!

Built on pace. Defined by culture.

What Is The Hitmen?

The Hull Hockey Hitmen spring program is built to deliver a spring hockey experience unlike anything else in Colorado. At the core of the Hitmen is Hull Hockey’s elite coaching staff, genuine people who bring both knowledge and passion to every practice. Our coaches don’t just run drills; they invest in every detail of a player’s growth, adapting instruction in real time in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that challenges players, builds confidence, and accelerates development.

Practices are run at an unmatched pace. Each session is guaranteed to be fast, intense, and designed to maximize every rep. Our coaches utilize highly effective, full-ice drills that go beyond isolated skills, teaching players how to read, react, and thrive in the complete game. This approach ensures athletes don’t just train harder; they train smarter, developing the awareness and confidence to succeed at the next level.

But the Hitmen experience is more than just practices and games; it’s about culture. Players and families join a community built on accountability, respect, and support. Athletes are challenged to work hard, but they’re also encouraged to thrive in an environment that celebrates effort, growth, and team connection. Parents feel the energy. Players feed off it. Together, it creates an atmosphere where everyone wants to be.

The Hull Hockey Hitmen isn’t just another spring program. It’s an experience that transforms the way players train and opens the eyes of parents who haven’t experienced what it’s truly like to be in a player-centric culture fueled by authentic people who genuinely care.

Our First Ever 8U Competitive Team

2018 nd 2o19 Birth Years

100% Full Ice

We are extremely excited to share our unmatched practices in an unmatched culture with our future travel players. Practices will feature drills and coaching you won’t find anywhere else. Each player will receive three full ice practices per week for a total of 21 sessions.

Skills AND Knowledge

These aren’t just ordinary practices. Every skate is built around purpose, sharpening technical ability, improving hockey IQ, and building the speed and compete level players need to succeed in today’s game. Athletes will be challenged with a combination of advanced skill work and game-like drills that demand pace, creativity, and execution under pressure. The result is development that sticks and players who leave every session better than when they arrived.

Tryouts x5

Each participant will receive 5 tryout sessions.  There are several benefits to this…Not only do we want a fair, thorough, and effective tryout process, but we want to actually get to know your skater.

These tryouts will consist of a mix of skills sessions, small area games, and scrimmages.

We will be taking our 8U Competitive team to the Chi-Town Shuffle!

April 17th – 19th

Hitmen 8U Extreme Development Program

Players who try out and do not make the 8U competitive team will be placed into our very own 8U Extreme Development Program. Make no mistake, this is our bread and butter for 8U development. Whil you may be bummed they don’t make the competitive team, trust us, you are in good hands. We believe we know what it takes to push 8U players past their comfort zones to improve astronomically. Players will still get three of the highest-quality hours of skill development. Click the button below to learn more!

How It Works

Roster Player

If your player tries out and makes the team, they will be considered a full time rostered player. You are required to pay the feel in full once rosters are announced.

Practice Player

Spring teams usually take up to 5 practice players. If your player tries out and does not make it as a full-time roster player, they can make it as a practice player. You are required to pay the fee in full once rosters are announced.

If They Don't Make It

If your player tries out and isn’t quite ready for the full-ice development style of this competitive team, your player will be placed into our very own 8U Extreme Development Program.
