Your First Step In Becoming A Better Skater

It is time to EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

Start The Season On A High Note

Our mission is to provide every athlete and family with more than just a hockey camp…we’re creating a community where every player feels seen, valued, and excited to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Our culture is built on hard work, encouragement, and genuine connection. We believe young athletes develop best when they feel comfortable being themselves, embracing challenges, and supporting one another. Every session is designed to create an environment where players can grow their skills, build confidence, and form friendships that last long after they leave the rink.

Through age-appropriate skill development, self-compete-based training, and positive mentorship, we challenge players to give their best while celebrating effort, progress, and teamwork. Whether it’s a player’s first camp or they’ve been with us for years, our goal is for every child to leave feeling more confident, more connected, and inspired to keep growing, not just as a hockey player, but as a teammate and person.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that the best memories aren’t just made through hockey, they’re made through the people, the culture, and the sense of belonging that keeps players coming back year after year.

⚠️ This is Not Your Average Pre-Season Camp ⚠️

Hull Hockey is taking a major step toward helping players and parents develop a positive mindset and a healthy perspective, regardless of the outcome. By emphasizing personal growth, resilience, and the process of transformation, Hull Hockey is creating an culture where success is measured by progress, character, and effort…not just the final score.

…And even better, the results we are seeing from it are borderline unbelievable.

The purpose is simple: It’s time to start focusing on yourself, not others.

Too often, we fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others, especially after being outperformed by someone else in some form or another. In those moments, it’s easy to let comparison turn into self-doubt. Instead of motivating us, it often fuels negative thoughts, which can quickly develop into a negative mindset that undermines confidence and growth.

Every Single Rep Counts

Every rep matters. When players step into Hull Hockey’s welcoming, challenging, and rewarding environment, they are given the opportunity to become the best version of themselves. In a culture where players feel safe, supported, and confident to be who they are, growth happens, and that’s where the real magic begins.

This is an opportunity to reignite a relentless drive to improve, compete, and perform at your highest level, right before tryouts.

Most importantly, it’s an experience where players build confidence, create lasting friendships, and have some of the most fun they’ll ever have while developing their game.

Communicate & Lead By Example

We’re excited to welcome back our other outstanding off-ice coach, Rebecca Katzer (Brightside Fitness), to lead a series of fun, engaging, and highly valuable team chemistry activities. These sessions are designed to strengthen communication, build trust, and create lasting connections, all while giving players a valuable experience off the ice. And did we say fun?! Take these valuable traits right into this upcoming season!

The Little Things

As we’ve already established, every rep matters…but only if you make it matter. The value of each repetition comes from the intention, focus, and effort that is brought.

The players who consistently improve and separate themselves from the rest all have a few things in common. First, they possess a relentless drive to become the best version of themselves in every situation. Second, they understand the importance of executing the little details, always.

We don’t let the little details slide. Our athletes learn how to master good, simple habits that have a direct refflection of their performance intensity.

And here’s something every player should know: evaluators notice the little details. They often reveal more about a player than a highlight-reel goal or flashy move ever could.

What are some of these simple, little details?

  1. Communicating for the puck. Every pass should be supported by clear, confident communication and a visible target for your teammate. This seems overly simple, but trust us, every.single.team struggles with puck hunger and communication.

  2. Where the drills start vs where they end. Often times, players lack the habit of finishing a drill all the way through no matter how tired they are, while forgetting the importance of it. (They will stop giving any effort at all feet 5-10 feet before they are supposed finish)

And The Best Part Is...It Is So Much Fun!
